You would be a bit afraid to drive that one.

Funily enough today I saw a NSU spyder wankel RHD in the car museum at Bugibba Malta. The funny thing is I saw another on the road in the UK a couple of years ago, and spoke to the owner, who was convinced that his was the only surviving RHD example!

A Birotor..... Oooooo. Very nice indeed. Amazingly high pitched engine noise. Any louder and it would only be heard by dogs!

It (just like New Zealand) is now populated largely by grey market Japanese imports. I could count on my fingers and toes the number of old British cars (excepting the very good museum). Those I have seen are mostly 1970s cortinas and escorts, a couple of old minis, a Hillman hunter and a lo-lite minor (partly dismantled).

Not many Citroens either, a couple each of c2,c3, xara and one mk2 c5.

A bit odd that it is photographed with UK plates, but located in Budapest...

There was one for sale last year in France for about 15000€ I think.

Those were the days, when the same dash switches appeared on Mini and Aston, Jensen and Morris. Smiths, Jaeger, Lucas . . . Made scrapyard shopping really simple!

Love the completely flat dash panel on the Jensen, easily made up on a craftsman's bench. Rev counter (presumably) fed off the dynamo end-bearing is a nice touch. Bet the electric fan came as a bit of a shock to the system!

In the late 60s, a furniture-selling neighbour of ours in Reading used to have an Interceptor III (there has to be a moral in that). Always thought it a stunning sight, particularly that huge curved back window.
