For Sale 1996 Citroen XM estate 2.0 16V manual, non turbo

Hi folks.
I've decided to sell my XM which I've been running as my main vehicle for the past 3 years, been in the family for 7 years.
Spec:
1996 (N Reg)
2.0 16V (non turbo)
manual (rare?)
Burgundy red
Grey velour interior.
161,000 miles
Reason for selling I no longer need the great carrying capacity and I decided I had other Citroen bugs to itch! I've just bought my new toy and swapped the insurance over to her and now this has got to go....
The good bits, engine runs well, doesn't use any oil/water. Drives nicely. Had a new clutch fitted by Brodie Engineering a couple of years ago, has recently (few months ago) had her front top mount struts changed (Brian Primmer top mounts) this was performed by Bourne Citroen. Interior is very clean, seats have no rips or noticeable wear. She has an MOT until November.
The bad bits, lacquer peel on edges of roof and some other areas.. Gear rod linkage pops off, bought a new one from Citroen and that one after a few months started coming off... I've been told it could be the ball that the gear rod cup sits into that's worn.. That will need fixing, I've temporarily done an AA man fix by putting a piece of rubber mechanics glove over the cup and pushed it onto the rod.
ABS light started coming on intermittently, Bourne Citroen suspect it's the ABS relay located in the engine bay which is specific to the ABS. They took it apart and it started working for a few weeks they say swapping for a working relay should solve It... Not had a chance to do. The relay is very accessible in the engine bay.
The speedo has recently decided it works when it wants...
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send photos...
I'm located in Leicestershire LE16, if you want to discuss please call O7 852 33 4 33 7
