I often saw THIS driving around on the island and the owner would flash me if he saw the XM, not seen him for a while until I saw Jim's old tct XM parked next to it for a week or so down here a while back,and then the CX was laid up and didn't move.
It seems the old boy may have passed away since the CX is up for auction, genuine iow registered and now offered at auction, the temptation to attend is great...............................

It was a guy I know, owner of a rival business over here, who phoned me today to tell me it was hitting auction rooms and I should get down there, i hate him.

I've seen it in the flesh and it is stunning with a high chance of being one owner from new, I've got visits booked for the morning though so can't really make it, would be gutted if it went under the hammer for £500 or something silly

Do something different, decorating the hall and fixing that plynth can wait for another year...

tomorrow is Saturday, get a kitchen plynth and plaster the utility room. Could be done in a day (or 2? ) Hall decoration can't be that long either..

I've cut the plynth just need to get the clips on and glue it, ceilings are over boarded and plastered in the hall, walls are plastered just need to do the skirting and architrave, put new switches and sockets on, carpet and decorate.....................utility is done but I'm still on a back foot as its been 3 years and that doesn't sit well with her upstairs.............especially since the XM managed to be re turned and returned to the road in that time!

No harm in a little look at the auction though is there, just out of curiosity, you know
