I am afraid I have sinned and bought one of these...

Which sadly means that the Xm has to go...
Now I took it off the road to do some work on it and have not managed to get it back on. The pictures show some of the work....

So I had all the subframe ccomponents powder coated including the rear arms, I welded the subframe mounting points and the the holes where the plastic rear bumper supports locate. Put new mounts into the rear subframe. I intended to replace all the front to back pipes but have not done so. I had the wheels done at an alloy wheel place as well as the intake manifold.
To get it moving and rolling would not take a lot but I need it gone or rather the Mrs does!

So my question is, is anyone interested in it or is breaking it the best course of action. I think I already know the answer but just have to check!

Its a silver 2.1td exclusive M reg with around 140k miles with leather interior.

Would be terrible to scrap her after all that work.

How much are you asking?

I do feel it would be a crime to scrap her after the work especially all the welding and powder coating!
Price wise I am unsure and would consider any offers- Need to make back the money from the powder coating and alloy wheel prep.
Will add more pictures soon!

Hi there - have you made up your mind about price or whether or not you're selling as a finished car? I'd be mildly interested

I think it may be a case of breaking it as I don't have the time to put it back together at present.

Would you sell the wheels? I've got the same one's that I've had blasted but lacking painting time.

Nice C6 you have there Dave, pleased with it?
They are a cracking car, I had another drive in one the other day and reminded me what a nice thing they are to pilot.
Hope it serves you well and you manage to find a taker for the XM.

I'm up in Sheffield at the end of the month, 21/22 I think, if you do break it I may get in contact since I'm coming over to England but here's hoping for a buyer.
