AND It had a recent new clutch too!!

No didnt need to.. it had not long been done before I got it. Im sure its documented in the pile of papers I passed on.

Thanks guys... The next car will be a Volvo v40 diesel estate. Cheap to buy and run. I wanted a v70 ideally but insurance is killing me with 9 points now.
Russ, mine has had a full top end rebuild in the past, injectors, head gasket, the lot! With the pump done, cambelt and clutch it needs nothing....I tell a lie, the glow plugs are due as they are getting lazy but that's only £24 a set and it starts every time
I know there are cheaper cars that come up but they need money spending on them. You could run mine for at least a year without it needing anything. Coolant was done in December, LHM around that time too....
