Something makes me think this was for sale a long long, pre clubxm.co.UK time ago.
If anyone will know it will be Robert or Ciaran.
Would donor I suppose, I'm just annoyed its fields full of old 2.1 td xms that grow here not 24v's but I suppose Ireland has a better growing climate?

I owned a S1 24v H564 GDP in Maroon, one of the 2 press cars, it was my second XM, really nice car, but did just stop whenever it liked, fun on roundabouts; although she did fly through her MOT
Anything can be done, only got to watch all the restoration shows on tele, but to do it justice, IMHO, you should lavish money on that, more than many could or would want to, like my CX rebuild, gonna be about 30k when done.
Fingers crossed for her!!

That gold car isn't a 24 valve, but the manual box makes it a bit more interesting.
I bet the front double skinned sections are well rotten.

Trouble is the CX might actually be worth something when your done, this won't yet.
You right Will, it is a 12v but even so, probably the nicer engine, if it was run 2 years ago it may be OK but the body kit doesn't help rust prevention. All pointless anyway because for a few hundred quid its a fair price.
The one I was thinking of was abandoned in a field by a visiting Brit when it broke down and was never collected, wonder what happened to it?

Must have changed the front wings then for 24V badges....
I had to do some picture flicking between a 12v and 24v and it does look like a 12v. But was it originally a 24v?? mystery.

And has cloth seats, steel wheels and unpainted plastic scuttle.
Also, I don't think the 24v was available in Gold in any market.
It presumably had the badges added at the same time as the bodykit.
