At that price I would expect it to be in pristine condition, not needing so much money spent on it to make right and what is the spare wheel doing in the boot?

In all honesty if it was prestige condition it wouldn't be advertised at 1k it would be nearly double that at least, good cars are starting to show signs of fetching pretty reasonable money these days.
I would chuck a new set of plugs in it or sort whatever issue it is that's making it run rough before trying to sell though.

Is it me or is there a large screw through the rear bumper near the dent?

Looks like a whacking great big bolt to me, the bumper mount has probably failed at some point and a somewhat economic repair has taken place.

It is a bolt, looks like the actual bumper bolt. Nasty repair.
Good to see its still about.... needs some love though by the looks of it.

The scar marks on the back bumper suggest that it popped its mounting plate at the same time as the rear wing was dented.
Lot of boats in the pictures plus a tow bar on the car.
Might be worth checking the rear end of the car for rust.
Backing boat trailers down slipways into salt water can sometimes get the back end of the vehicle wet.

That looks like the car which Chris Andrews acquired from an elderly gent and then passed on briefly to Citro Jim if I am not mistaken! Regards, Matthew T.

It is that car.
That car has floated around that price for the last 3 sales.
