Anyone got a set of genuine Citroen mud flaps for a series 2 hatch for sale? Used or new.

Ooo i rip these off because they are useless on a sinker as they get crumpled as the car settles..

I might have some but the clamps will be Useles so new ones will need making i think..

Surely only on a car with no wheels? Or flat tyres?

Nope.. standard sinker. My 24v had them and was forever crumpling them up

My Citroen rigid flaps do not foul the ground, even with the suspension on its knees.
Are yours flappy flaps or the rigid ones?

The flappy ones are of course height adjustable, so may be that was Paul's problem, and/or the boggy Welsh farmyard!! Regards, Matthew T.

I took them off because they chafe the paintwork and create a mud trap.

I've probably binned them, but will have a look.

I have the flappy type on all my cars and I find they do help to keep the bodywork clean. It is only the front flaps that trap mud and they are quite easily removed to clean behind the wheel-arch liners and wings. The brackets can scratch the paint during fitting it is true, but if you are keeping flaps on the car there is not really a problem. Regards, Matthew T.

I used to have a car (forget what) that had longish flappy flaps. Under the wrong conditions, in reverse, it could tear off its own rear flaps, as the flap got caught between wheel and obstruction. I learned never to back up a kerb with that one!

I have some new original Citroen ones still in their box, I will check if they are front or rear tomorrow

I have checked and there are rear moulded flaps, let me know if these are any good to you,
