4x Italia Speedline alloys with covers **now sold**

For Sale: 4x Italia Speedline Alloy wheels, complete with covers. These are known as the Italia alloys but they are stamped with SPEEDLINE - MADE IN FRANCE
They will need a refurb..
1 cover is marked but not scratched. Painting over should cover the marks.

Personally I prefer the 5 disc covers...........I took the alloys off mine and the original steels back on!!!

Alloys look nice, but you can hit potholes at speed with steel wheels and not damage them. I hit a deep one unexpectedly in a 2.5 once on a cold winters morning at about 60 and it made one hell of a bang, but the wheel wasn't damaged and it drove fine. The tyre developed a big lump in the sidewall but it stayed up. Meanwhile I hit a pothole in the CX at modest speed last month and it knocked the alloy out of round and the tyre went flat a few hours later. Fortunately I've got a few spare alloys but it's still a pain when it happens.
I now drive in the middle of the road to avoid it happening
