Looks very nice, unfortunately it's about double what I can afford.

Yes that does look tidy, but not cobalt blue I think but that attractive S1/S2 'powder' blue colour whose name I forget. All the best of luck with the sale. Regards, Matthew T.

As said, it's not cobalt blue, I believe it's Mondial blue. KLS.
It does look lovely though. Have thought about keeping the car and selling the Wife?

I had to think long and hard about that decision, but eBay wouldn't allow me to advertise the wife

He's redone the lacquer on the bonnet that was starting to peel (not so sure he has actually 'repainted' it though...) There is a repair done to the Near side passenger door below the side moulding that doesn't quite match the paint colour. It pre dated my ownership and I only noticed it after owning it for a month or so but it's worth potential buyers knowing that in advance given the strong asking price. It was a nice car to drive if you like a leisurely pace. I replaced a good few things on it (there's a thread in this forum somewhere) including two new window regulators and rebuilt FDV and balljoints I think. Replaced all the glowplugs and the timing belt the seller mentions was done by myself ( I did not replace the water pump or the tensioners though at that time due to the (then) low mileage of 70K so that's also worth thinking of if you're considering it) Looks like very little has been done to it since I had it apart from the oil and trans fluid which was all done by my friend at Pallas Auto in Gravesend. It's one of the rapidly thinning herd of proper Mk1.5 XMs still with reasonably low mileage and it was certainly the best of the two XMs I owned. So if anyone considers it, take a look back on my thread from when I had it. It's also in a great colour.
