Hi, I'm after the bracket that the cruise control bellows are attached to, does anybody have one?

Pref for a 2.1TD.

Just curious, did you lose the part? There are a number of different parts listed, depending on the engine.

No .. we want to make a fresh install on a 2.1 td series one that didnt have it. I have the ecu.. vaccum pump .. bellow just need the bracket to mount it.. if we cant get one we shall soon make one..

Sounds like an interesting project, do all Xm's have vac operated cruise?

2.5 cruise is an injection ECU function - all electronic.

Reports suggest that the later 2.1 TD (XUD11B) Lucas EPIC has the electronic cruise routines included in the ECU.
Just needs the wiring and switches, none of the unreliable vac bits needed or a separate cruise ECU.
If I remember rightly there are posts on here confirming the successful XM upgrade.
They may even be like the non cruise 2.5's wiring pre fitted and just need the dash stalk and switch.

Thats interesting john as i have a W reg 2.1 td epic xm here with factory cruise but its a hella vac system..

I must admit ive not put lexia on to look into the ecu yet..

Bosch did the same with the xantia hdi. Initially in 1998 the ecu did NOT have cruise fitted but from 1999 they put it in the ecu.. however.. stupidly.. citroen still did NOT offer cruise on the xantia hdi. However a matter of 7 wires and a cruise lever it can be added in xantias..

The project car is a 2.1 td manual with bosch pump..
