I would very much (obviously) like to buy an XM Estate, which are scarce at the moment. Does any member have an XM they could be persuaded to part with? Late model, low mileage, petrol preferred b ut not essential - exciting news - I have a C6 to trade if you would prefer that to cash (2.7 exclusive black/cream, 2009 diesel, immaculate). I met the owners of that silver estate last year. They're genuine XM enthusiasts, with three in total. £950 seems like a pretty good price for it.

Hi Peter

Most Mk 2 XM estates were bought to be used rather than cherished.
Over time they became generally in poorer condition and higher mileage than the equivalent car.
There were fewer estates produced and the ratio has dropped further with time due to faster rate of scrappage.
Watch the adverts is all I can suggest as they do turn up from time to time.
Most though will need work I am afraid.

That particular car has a pretty good showing of rust. It definitely needs at least one new rear wing.

Sounds a lovely car, but the interior of C6 isn't what it should be and the tax situation is ridiculous.

The exterior design is sublime.
