Hi Peter, that would come in really handy right now but I dread to think what the postage and import tax would be

Hi Peter, thanks very much for the offer, can I get back to you tomorrow ? I've literally just this moment finished reassembling my pump (again), touch wood all will be in order again but then again... :?

Dieselman, I would imagine the postage to be horrible bearing in mind the weight of the pump but I could be wrong, but yes, the Norwegian customs people do charge tax on used parts along with anything else, the only thing they don't charge on (yet) are books, they even charge a fee to the reciever for them (the customs people) to open the incoming parcel to the appraise the contents and work out just how much they can charge in taxes on top and boy do they love their jobs

Thaks both, Colin.P

Well done Colin.

That is a job I have never done so may need to call on you for help somtime in the future. Did one or two repairs on the CAV pumps on the old Perkins engines but have never actually stripped one down. I notice your cardboard box has foreign writing on it. :D
