Hi All..

I know this may not sell here but starting here we have a PRIZE winner. . Verging on immaculate.. we have a W reg 2.1 td auto VSX available..

Car has just on 100k or so on it.. at 95k the top end had new multi layer head gasket.. new head.. new bead bolts.. cam belt and water pump and anti freeze.. gearbox has had new seals on the governer to stop it racing up the gears.. works perfectly fine now. Everything works except the ABS. Ive not looked at it and the bulb must be out as the lamp has never lit up.. the car in on here im sure documenting some of the work i did..
Vsx spec with cloth trim with side air bags and both driver and passenger air bag. All the useual electrics with one touch and anti pinch drivers window. Also a recent new window unit on the drivers side as it was broke..no headlight washers and the side door trims have been colour coded. The chrome is also in fairly good order..

The Air con also DOES work too!


Car will be on Exclusive spider alloys and NOT the ones shown in the pictures..
We be looking at around the £2500 ono mark..

I beleve theres a folder with some history..

Can I just add, this car won 3rd place at X -Rally this year and also won Best XM at this years National Rally, it drives and rides superbly.

IMO. Having driven this car I would say it's a cracking car, well worth the money you are asking.

No it didnt. It was on hold to get some bunper corners touched up... so it is still going to be available..

My name is Alex and I'm new to the forum and have never Owned a Citroen. James Walshe is a friend of mine from the Saab Club where I am very well known and I have several Saab cars. If my 2-stroke sells shortly I have room in my storage for another car!
I've been considering Citroen for a while now, and along with my Friend Lance Cole, James has got be interested in owning an XM ( I didn't need much encouragement tbh, the company I used to work for had two new series 1 cars) to go with my Saab collection, and this car looks just the ticket? My only concern is the non functioning ABS and the next MOT test?

In a previous life I was a car mechanic, but have little experience of Citroen, although I have worked on 2Cvs, GS and have MOT'D a few of the other models.

It may of course be that this particular car is now sold?
