Emails from the forum

Hi guys,

Some of you may have received multiple topic reply notification emails from the forum just now.

The reason for this is that it has been storing these up for the past few days, while the mailserver was offline due to problems.

Hopefully this backlog is now cleared, and mail notifications should work as normal, but sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Bit like buses eh Peter!

It should be Ok now, I found there was a stale cache file which it uses as a temporary place to queue the outgoing emails, it wasn't being emptied when the send routine completed, resulting in it being being processed over and over again. I've cleared this and it should be operating normally

If I'd spotted this first wouldn't have bothered with my post about emails. Must pay more attention (again !!).
