I think if it was not very difficult to convert a Lhd Xm to Rhd, a number of us would be taking you up on your offer.

The Uk was by far the largest market for Rhd Xm, but due to the wet climate, inappropriate cars and lack of driving skill, we over salt the roads in Winter, causing cars to rot.

We also wished for lack of sun roofs too.. as I'm sure most European cars didn't have them..

. . . and a chronic reluctance of most owners (first or subsequent) to take any steps to protect the underside and cavities.

Easy for owners of brand new cars to think that they couldn't possibly fall victim to corrosion, especially in their spell of ownership. Having had a good few used cars succumb (Rovers, Austin-Morris), somewhere around 1980 (and with a P6B 3500S) I just decided enough was enough, and so everything after that got the Waxoyl (or now 4CR) treatment. Nothing has rusted since, despite several having been driven repeatedly though Scottish and Alpine winters.
