And that engines WAS NOT the douvrin 2.2 ohv engine either.. it was simcas own engine from routes days..
I was too also aware the 4tc was the ohv engine too..

Final destination.. well her final journey.. she is ready to go.. after some serious humping and shoving..

There is a gearbox in that empty space now off the other engine...
And yes.. i did strip out the interior but left her in a fully running state..
The seat is from a 607 and is completely bent out of shape.. but being the same floor pan fixes straight in..
The more she is run the better she gets. But thats it for me.

Sad to see any of them go for scrap but it seems that the galvanising has expired, two of the last three I scrapped were due to rust, the other one was quite good until my wife wrapped it round a bus shelter.

Well done Paul, my maths comes to around 440hp, race lightened with removeable steering wheel and JDM zip-ties, is this the fastest XM in the world???

When I first saw it I thought it was a cream leather XM seat and my initial thought was 'Nooooooo, don't ruin such a rare interior on this!'
