Id be mighty Piss*$ if another Black XM SE was lost!!!
No chance of this particular black SE suffering a similar fate Paul
I fitted the Iridium tipped spark plugs today. A noticeable improvement, not huge but an improvement so every little thing now seems to be bringing some benefit...
An old pal and I attended a retirement 'do' this lunchtime and I took him to the venue in the XM. he was most impressed and enjoyed the cruise. His comment was that it even smelt proper
Now the oxygen sensor is doing it's job properly there's no doubt gas mileage is better; I'll get a better idea of just how when XM and I travel to Aberystwyth next Friday...

Have you got some chest high waders Jim?
It may be a worthwhile investment having some if not...

That's fine for me but what about the XM?
Surely it's not going to be that bad is it or do you have some special line into the met office to be able to see the weather a week hence?
Anyway, there's two ways into Aber. If it's a bit inundated one way in I'm sure the other will be OK...
And besides, I can't let my little girl down... It's her birthday next weekend. She'll be 20. Where's the years gone?

Don't need a fancy forecast.
One simply KNOWS that it WILL BE raining...

Well yes, it's Wales so that is sort of taken as read...
First time I took Robyn to Aber she remarked on the whiteness of the sheep and the greenness of the grass and asked why it was so..
I just advised her that the place enjoys a rather high rainfall and thus sheep get a regular bath and grass grows lush and green.
It makes it an achingly beautiful place though. I just love it

Wales rocks as far as I'm concerned...

The re-worked Activa cat I fitted for MOT reasons is not to my satisfaction. It sits too close to the ARB and subframe and bangs on it from time to time. It niggles me so I've bitten a bullet today and bought a new cat for it. I'm expecting it to be a kitten judging by the low price I've paid but running on LPG that'll be no worries. All the MOT tester needs to see is there’s a cat fitted.
Whilst I had the plastic out I went to the Bilt Hamber Website and bought a load of Dynax S-50 and Dynax UC to do a bit of XM and Xantia rustproofing...

I'm looking forward to the Aber trip Chris and of course seeing Robyn

Seems like ages since I've seen her...
I'm hoping too the new kitten comes before Friday and that the weather and my health will be good enough to slip it on before the trip. A cat bumping on the subframe really irritates me...
