Thanks for the heads up but the exhaust is good and I don’t really have the space to store this as a spare, it’s a shame though🤔

The XM is now at Pleiades, they will be assessing the suspension situation and quoting for repair. I think it will be next week before they speak to Peter with the assessment and quote. I hoping it’s good news🤔👍

It’s been a while since I posted, I am actually in Canada at the moment but I have just received news from Peter about the V6. Pleiades Have finished their magic on the car and it now is working as it should. They have sorted the suspension out and the car is now lifting and lowering properly. They have replaced some brake pipes and sorted a very leaky steering rack, all for a very keen price. Peter is picking it up on the transporter on Friday and taking it back to his workshop. So we are another major stage nearer to getting the V6 back on the road.😁👍

Well Peter has picked the V6 up from Pleiades, on his wagon. I haven’t seen the body so high off the ground for over 20 years, so I am well pleased. Peter won’t be doing any work on the car for a few months, for family reasons. So I will be sourcing parts for it, ready to get it finished early next year. I have found brake calibre refurb kits, as Peter is not happy about the condition of the seals. I am now looking for a handbrake/footbrake cable, as Peter thinks it’s seized. The biggest problem I will have, is getting replacement front indicator lenses. Both mine are cracked, it must be an age thing. If anyone has any idea if the covers can be sourced, please let me know. Thanks for your support…Derek

Indicators in the bumper?? I have those...

side lamps next to headlights are a bit harder to get..

Parking cables from pedal to equaliser I have a few .. but it could also be the equaliser unit itself. It sits on the side of the exhaust tunnel passenger side next to exhaust.. I have these also if its beyond reserecting..

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and as usual with very helpful parts. I am not sure about the handbrake cable but I will find out more from Peter. Yes it is the white side lamps next to the headlights. I think the plastic discolours and goes brittle.

Cheers…Derek
