Do you think She will actually use these to get a job, or will be an eternal student?
My Sister has been an eternal student and a Niece now has a desirable degree, but isn't using it.
Yes, dedicated to medicine. Spent the last two years working in a London hospital prior to starting medicine this October.

Education is never wasted. Sometimes it takes a university degree to tell you what it is you don't want to follow as a career.

A young friend of ours did Chemistry at Oxford, but found his main passion was running a student newspaper there. His first job out of Uni was with the Leicester Mercury as a reporter, thence to BBC Radio Leicester, and then into BBC Television.

As someone once said, "Education isn't for anything. It's an end in itself."
Getting expensive, though, some say, but worth remembering an old NUT car sticker that said
"If you think education's expensive, try ignorance!"

Just completed another 600 mile trip to the Cotswolds and back in the XM - mpg of 34, not bad for an old V6!

Stopped off on the way home and paid a deposit to secure a 25 year old basic BX 1.4. Under 50k miles and just about the softest, floatiest ride I have experienced including three CXs I have owned. Looking forward to collecting it later this week.

The XM will not be leaving!

A BX ride can be just magic, if all the spheres are properly gassed.

I have a new toy :D

This car has effectively only had two owners from new, the first kept it for two years, the second kept it until he stopped driving a couple of years ago when it was signed over to his son from whom I purchased the car. It has been very well maintained it would appear, including a cam belt change last year and very, very few miles ago. It has only done 48k and I think I have given it its longest run ever today, driving it home about 140 miles.

I know it is not perfect, but I think it is great and I am looking forward to giving it a really good clean and replacing the tacky wheel trims. The originals are in the boot (along with lots of other spares) but two have them have been brush painted. Anyone got any spares??

She looks great, Rob.
Agree about those wheel trims....they have to go!
We added a coachline to ours, just above the swage line above the door handles, and running the whole length of the car. Seemed to work really well. Just an idea.
What a great buy.

Went to the DS launch day today at a local dealers and sat in a number of the new models. Found the DS5 impressive from the outside and I loved the look of the seats, but utterly hateful once I was in it - dark and claustrophobic. Not for me. Of the current models I looked at, it was the C1 I liked the best (and I do know the only Citroen bits are the badges). Sad really. But it was nice to give the BX another run out.

The very best bit of the day was being taken out in an absolutely immaculate 1955 Traction. Utterly superb, it wears its sixty years better than I do.
