There is a garage round the corner from me, who has a metro van as their company car. It's completely original, as it's a bit tatty, with very 80's livery on the sides. It just looks so cool for some reason. Rose tinted glasses probably, they used to be everywhere.

My Maate used to get 1.3 litre metro's as his company cars. He had three of them, the first being very quick. Replacement engines and gearboxes were the order of the day accross the fleet.

Metro's were never my thing, but other BL stuff did hit the button. Allegro and Princess were just 70's BL to a t. I'd have another tomorrow.
