I haven't seen a series 1 24V for sale for a long time, any idea what they might be going for these days? Not saying Im going to sell mine, but you never know?? If I end up staying in Tenerife for another few years, then I think, maybe, not sure it might have to go.

Depends how many people are after the same one.... I think theres a waiting list, or a wish list..

The lower the miles and the cleaner the car the more it gets.. I assume yours has had the "Citroen" Recall mod to the rockers and followers!

Hi Andy

The prices of all of them on ebay seem to be going up now, that is the best guide to value, they are worth what people will pay and that seems to be increasing steadily now. Safest thing to do is have a reserve price and see what it gets bid up to, if you don't sell it at least you will have an Idea of what people are prepared to pay.

Peter,

Thats all and well for all standard cars, but andys being the rarer 24v is one of those models that cant be valued due to its scaresness..

When 24v'ers do show on eBay (about 3 times since I've been watching in years and years) they
normally magic into the ether before bidding sets in with any conviction presumably due to a cash
offer too good to turn down by someone who's been champing at the bit for one for ages.

Are you certain it's something you want to actually sell as it's unlikely you be able to go out and
buy another when/if you ever change your mind/circumstances change?

Ballpark figure for the car seen pictured? Hell; anything from £1k north... to anything!!

Possibly more with a few self tapping screws removed! ;)

It's such a shame when u think that German websites (eg mobile.de) are (relatively) full of S1 24v which are probably becoming tin cans at the moment with the scrapage schemes overthere, while in the UK they are in such short supply... :(

I take your point but you still have to find a buyer, where? If you put it on ebay with a reserve of what you think it is worth, if it doesn't reach it you don't sell. As Andrew says, the popular models are coming on ebay and then dissapearing, probably because they have had a good offer, a case in point is the 2.1 in Weston.S.M. last week - I never got a look in :(

If you want the car badly enough, you will go to great lenghts to secure it. With my 17k 2.0 Si which I bought a couple of years ago, I phoned the seller, and did a deal with him there and then to get him to pull it off e-bay. Its not how e-bay should work, but I wanted it, and I didn know if anyone else wanted it more than me!

He didn't list a phone number and wouldn't reply to my emails, what else could I have done?
