Hi all.

As this is my 1st Xm, Purchased from Phil, who rescued it from Geneva back in March, i have to say i am over the moon with the car. :D
Image
Prior to me collecting it from him , i had never even sat in one let alone driven one ! , so i didn't know what to expect from the Xm,
Having collected it from him and driven it back to Eastbourne, i must say , what a superb example it is, ( well i think so anyway )!...
It crused on the motorway home, effortlessly,
It only had a short Mot, and after fitting a new track rod end , and steering rack gaitor, it sailed through on Tuesday with no adviseries..
So i thought i would add a few pics of the car now, as it is to date, but do have future plans for it, no many cause i want to keep it as close to origanal as possible, with the exeption of the cd player..
As you can see from the pics, i have resprayed the roof embelishments, what a balls up that was   , Halfords paint didn't quite match , so iv'e now got the paint code from the inner wing KKBRSB, phone a few paint matching outlets and am now getting the right colour, so they will be spayed agian
I want to get the front bumper cleaned off and also resprayed , to get rid of those usual scrap marks.

Anyway enough gabbling on.

Just like to thank Phil for saving it from an uncertain future in Geneva, and i'm glad to be the proud owner of it !!

Yes and iv'e got the replacement Turbo ct badges coming, as one fell off, so i decided to remove the other one and see to repairing a small amount of lacquer, that had flaked off around them.

That looks great...apart from the roof trims... ;) I've just done mine using aerosol from paint 4 u http://www.paints4u.com/AutoColours.aspx?ProductID=5021 which was a pretty decent match.

The previous owner should be pleased to see you've taken the car to heart.

yes you are correct, by the information in the service book it's 1st owner lived in Stokeham , Kingsbridge , Devon , and it was sold new by Torbay Car Centre, Newton Road Torquay on the 31/03/95,
It seems after that, at about a yr old it was sold agian, and the rest of it's history is from around the selby area of Yorkshire !

Gunna Flogg the wifes Megane Coupe now , She love s the Xm, so V6 auto would be one she can drive .
