Captain Slow's Series One XM

Well, today has been an epic trip. Leaving Southampton station at 7am, getting home at 16.30, after heading to Ipswich and back.
I am now the proud owner of a series one XM, registered '93. Its a 2.0 petrol turbo with 150bhp, and an auto box. It has only 79700 miles on the clock, and quite a bit of history. It was owned by another XM club member before being sold to a random punter a few months ago, who hasn't really done much with it. He only purchased it as it was local, and he wanted something big and cheap, but decided it was to good to ruin, and consequently placed it up for sale.
Here it is

It was very good on the way home, covering nearly 200 miles without missing a beat. This was on less than £50 of fuel, so approx 30mpg. The ride is lovely and smooth, however the front wheels need balancing as there is quite a lot of shaking at 65-70mph.
It has electric everything, including an electric arm rest, which I never released was essential until today
Very chuffed with it currently. It needs a good clean inside and out, wheels balancing, and thats about it for now I think. Its taxed till Nov, as well as MOT'd till Nov. Now it's time to give it a clean!
