What Have I Done? Gone and Got Another XM That's What!

Just completed the formalities of purchasing another XM...
The bug is biting harder
I got to hear of just the one I wanted, looked at it this afternoon and bought it
My Prestige formed part of the deal...
It's an early ES9 V6 and has had a very hefty amount spent on it in the not too distant past, including a recon gearbox...
General condition is generally rather tidy
More details and pictures when I take possession; likely to be next week sometime...

No way... And to think you almost gave your Prestige and XM ownership up Jim. That's it, you're well and truly hooked!

WOW! Jim, I'm very happy to hear this- and a bit surprised too, for similar reasons to the ones Russ mentioned.

S2 cars appear worse for rust generall underneath jim, so check carefully...
Anyway, no dount you have.. Hope the strut tops are good too.. I know later cars can be quite bad.
What colour Jim?
You really do love the ESJ (understandable) and auto box combination. I did too in the xantia in the short term I used my own...

He never Left Peter.. He didnt sell the S1 Prestege in the end.. and has always had his S.15 Black one...

I know, it was when I was thinking I may have to either give up work or work part-time and some other issues were troubling me. Thankfully, all that has gone and the way has been cleared to enjoy the cars more fully

No, he still has his Dean (if we're thinking of the same person) and has no intention whatsoever of not having it!
Paul, it's a silver one and quite an early one on a R plate so must have been one of the first ES9 engined ones. The RP number is lower than my old S1 V6 Xantia...
I'm very disappointed in the S2 glove box with the passenger airbag. I's pathetic compared with the S1...
