Up in Scotland. A. Small reservoir has been drain to recover 9 stolen dumped cars.... This did make a surprise appearance..

Can't get over how, rust free it looks. I'd guess that it be lack of oxygen in the water.

On the car though I see it's a base model 2.0i indicated by the single cooling fan and aftermarket wheel trims.

It's not often an xm Comes up as a stolen lost car in water etc.. Begs the questions.. Why.. Who.. What for.


But they have been there some time. Its a over. Fb.. Astra mk. 2.. Peugeot 605.. Mk. 1.carlton estate.. Nissan piearie.. Etc..

Quite a resto project, there.

Exhaust is a bit rusty, but the jacking points appear sound.

Someone went to a lot of trouble to wash the salt off the the jacking points.

That Xm is all good n the left side, the underside and sills appear sound and it even has a seemingly undamaged right rear wing.

Most likely straight to scrap processors..

Think the condition was discussed on fb.. How's it kept so well in water. I said most likely lack of oxygen under water to create rust..

There was a white one too, recovered along with an AX, if this was the same lake I saw a few weeks ago.
