Does anyone have access to LJK Setright's renowned Car review of the XM (Sept.94) ?
Can only find it on the web as a very expensive reprint.

It really is time that those of us who have articles stored away (and access to a scanner) start to make them available online.
Would stop people selling copies of said articles on Ebay to multiple customers for a few pounds every time.
I don't have a scanner but my friend does. I will look out my magazines and see what I have.
I think I may have the article you mention....where Setright looks at the newly-arrived MK2 XM.
Will let you know.

Being L J Straightjacket, will it actually be worth reading?

I'm not about to answer that.

Well Will, he is always good entertainment value at least, surely? ☺
@White Exec:
I found the magazine after a search lasting an unprecedented 3 minutes (brevity happily being the unprecedented aspect).
It's actually very brief and the main writing about the XM itself only takes up the equivalent of half a page.
As I said I do not have a scanner, but for now my phone camera is pretty decent and I will post up the images later this evening.
Rohan.

Thanks, Rohan.
Last year a friend lent me his hardback copy of LJKS's
Bristol Cars and Engines - a copy currently on Amazon for a cool £125!
What a way with words.
Much about him here:

He was a Citroen enthusiast.
