spotted an the A46 south of the M5 this afternoon!
XM Estate in Mandarin (I think) heading south at around 4pm today - I was heading north in my XM. I was so shocked at seeing another XM on the road that I was almost too late returning the driver's wave!

I bet it wasn't a series 1, so it would be Magenta, not Mandarin.
I "think" it's good he gave you a wave...years ago a friend with a Reliant Rialto Supervan used to get waves from other Reliant owners...He used to flick the V sign in return...

Saw this car again last Sunday, this time it was heading north towards Bath from Warminster. No wave this time, but then I was driving a Merc. car transporter with a CX on the back!
