Seeing the recent Mr Beane post reminded me to mention my recent XM siting on the film 'Brassed Off'. Searching on the web I see I am not the only anorak and I attach the image already posted! The chauffeur driven car belongs to the Colliery Boss and it is an interesting that an XM was chosen. Even more intriguing is that, although the film was supposedly set in 1992, the model is very obviously a series 2 (nose cone and mirrors), possibly an Exclusive? The film was made around 1995 so I guess the car would have been brand new at the time. With regards, Matthew T.

I remember seeing it in the film, just didn't think about it being set in 1992, so didn't think about it being a series 2 car.
