Went to Aylsham, Norfolk on Monday to Keys Auctions and I wondered if we'd see any XMs.

Saw Matthew's lovely gold V6 and a bit further back up the road (no picture) of IIRC, a 2.0 SEi.

I was about to say that looks familiar!

That is an amazing coincidence Franklin, because my office overlooks the street where the cars are parked and at one point I happened to be looking out and thought I saw you flash past in a sporty red C3? hatchback!! It is a shame you did not have time to call in for a chat and a cup of tea and to meet the rest of the family(ies). I look forward to seeing you at the 'X' weekend after next. Wow! That is some coincidence Matthew and you're nearly right but it was infact a C4 by Loeb edition (only 400 in the UK), pictured here at Keys':



The C4 got a good bit of use that day travelling to Keys for a look around, a quick look around Aylsham including the market and then onto Holt, back to Bawdeswell for the garden centre and then back home.

It sounds like the X Rally is going to be a good event with a good attendance - see you there!

Indeed - do you plan to go to the Classic Auction as we'll have to meet up. I do like the whole set-up of Keys I must say - just excellent!

I went to the auction last year Franklin that was great, although not to buy anything obviously!! It is a bit of a institution at Keys certainly and we could meet there and hopefully you could also call in and see our fleet? With regards, Matthew T.

Sounds a plan Matthew and I look forward to it - I'm sure we'll sort something out, probably at the X Rally. If dad's got an XM that's available and legal at that point in time I'll try and persuade him to go in that to Keys..
