I don't think anyone has a CAD drawing of the bell-crank.

A local precision engineers could mill a stainless steel bell-crank for you, or a fabricator could make a U shaped sleeve you could then cut and drill to fit over your existing plastic piece.

You could even make a metal piece using only hand tools and a drill.

Either way, I would be inclined to keep a needle roller bearing, as it should stop the bell-crank, or pivot pin, wearing.

Finally I have managed to get back to the forum for last several crazy weeks due to high work load, relatives health issues etc.

Thank you for compliments :))
"Your car looks in really good condition, anyone from UK will be very envious as there is no rust at all and it even appears to have all four jacking points...and no sunroof...Oh là là..."

Yes, jacking points are still in place but some bended a little bit by not qualified or diligent technicians for many years. But panel beating work in this case is easier than fighting rust. Actually there was some surface (hopefully) rust in the area of clutch cable going into its line to pedal but it should be inspected better (under noise insulation)

Yes, there is no sunroof. The less sunroofs - the less issues ))

"Your images open up to full screen and are large files due to being taken in portrait, as opposed to Landscape, giving more ground and sky, rather than actual car."

I tried to download better quality images but the website did not allow me due to high resolution. I will try to arrange maximum acceptable resolution next time with less sky :)

"I'm not sure whether your car is Meteor grey, (EYY), or Mercury grey (ETW). The paint code should be printed under the cables on the inner wing behind the left headlamp, in front of the air filter housing."

Thank you for this guidence. Will check tomorrow.

"If you paint the window upright glazing bars in satin black, you will have the original "band of glass" look."
Thank you for sharing the idea. It appears upright glazing bars color is still original (in acceptable condition for daily use :). As I come to painting at some point I will ensure they are satin black.

"The forum paint and trim codes charts have been another victim of regional censorship, but you may be able to see them in this, linked to, thread.
If possible can you please save them and we can organise a method of re-hosting them on the forum server. From storage, I have rebuilt the images in my previously linked to post, but these ones were created by another party and we have no local storage of them.

Great and impressive work done by you. Thank you! I have saved all the pictures under this link successfully. Very interesting and informative schemes

"Was the interior fabric originally in velour and has been changed for leather? Black leather seats normally came with black carpet and headlining.
Also does the car have a dot matrix display each side of the steering wheel, electric seats and rotary automatic cabin temperature and fan speed control? I can see the second rear window so this would make the car similar in spec to the UK "S" level trim. (mid range)
I assume it has A/c, so might have the push-button climate control."

The interior was grey (I will ask the previous owner whether it was leather or fabric). The previous owner changed it to black leather about 10 years ago. Carpet is still grey :) May be I will find black carpet somewhere (I think it should be from RHD car). New headlining is black. Yes, the cars has a dot matrix display each side of the steering wheel (the one on the right side should be replaced or fixed - I will try to check why it does not work). Yes, electric seats and rotary automatic cabin temperature (not working. reason to be checked) and fan speed control (working). Yes, there is second rear window - probably UK "S" level trim. Effectively it was the car designed for UK market as the speedometer is in miles as well. The A/C appears to be a push-button climate control (to be filled with gas as the previous owner temporarily disconnected A/C line but did not fill A/C subsequently )

"Your car appears to be riding a little high at the front, which is common for Xm that have been laid up but the height selection control left at normal ride height.

Over time, the spring rod deforms and makes the height corrector setting incorrect. I always set mine to low before switching off, if leaving for an extended period of time."

Yes, you are right as to a little high front. Thank you for your advice. I followed it as well.

"The height should be:
Front; 144 +10 / -7mm from the ground to the flat of the subframe.
Rear; 431 +10 / -7mm from the ground to the rear chassis rail just behind the rear subframe mount.

Measure with the engine running and after manually lifting and holding the body up until it sinks down, then allow it to raise itself to height.
The adjustment is by loosening the clamp on the anti-roll bar and operating the height corrector, then tighten the clamp."

Wow! You know everything about this car! Amazing ) I appreciate this specific instruction as well. It will be interesting exercise for me soon :)

"It's worth reviewing the Citroen training material to understand the Xm hydraulics systems.

Thanks. I learned a little bit about the suspension features, issues and solutions. I hope to manage it by myself with you valuable support.

"Apologies, you are probably going to be a bit overloaded with technical information initially, but will end up with a perfect running Xm. Just let us know how you are getting on and what we can do to help.
Using only basic hand tools, there is nothing you cannot fix yourself on a Citroen Xm."

I appreciate your attention and time to my story and car. It is very interesting experience with all respects for me. Including meeting great people on my way to restoring this extremely interesting car for me. I enjoy all this technical information you generously provided.

BTW as you happen to be in Cyprus let me know and I would be happy to arrange some excursion for you in old city of Nicosia if you find time.
