Looking very shiny.

Now you know why having the engine mounted in the car is beneficial when fitting the head. That 180 degree angle tighten takes quite a bit of pulling.

A few more hours and it should be finished.

The t-w loaned by my friend was very helpful as it is quite long (he is a truck mechanic) so the effort needed was low :)

Exhaust to down-pipe flange welded back on......glow plugs and injectors mounted......moving on.

Next jobs, remount the exhaust, fit a rubber joining pipe onto the cut turbo drain tube, refit turbo oil feed pipe/egr vac hoses etc (even if they do not work :) )

Slow but sure, I cannot afford time lost in back tracking, it "should" have been fixed by just replacing the rockers weeks and weeks ago :(.....such are the plans (and luck) of mice & men.
