Obviously, it all need the indicators and air bag light fixing prior to the Mot test.

Check all lights, wipers, seat belts, before taking it for the test.
It should go through without issue.

Good to hear that F2 was doing its stuff. No self-respecting XM misses out on that one
Nice long list of things ticked off.

Based on the brightness of the Left hand dip beam I need to check the earth on that one (it might be the camera/angle)....I also need to adjust the bonnet by the look of it.

Definitely the left lamp has an issue.
How do the indicators appear now with the Drl's in?

DRL's are not wired in yet.....when they are , if the indicators are flashing they will turn off (aka modern cars)

Good to have put the DRLs into the indicators, as they display pretty much the "full width" of the car - important when 'erberts come round blind bends and suddenly discover you're there. For the same reason, I opted to use the sidelights for DRLs.

I did consider the sidelights but I wanted a larger DRL and also to retain the side lights.....and I also always do things the hard way :)

After the partial (? well I know the screens and input works) failure fixing the L/R LCD screens and the delay I have until the parts arrive to fix/replace them I thought I would do something positive.....

I now have sound courtesy of an old radio I had kept on a shelf and the front speakers from my Shed-Activa v.6 Latvian spares car.
