Have a look at the attached Denso Epic information and also Gabor's wiring diagrams.

Denso Epic information attached.

We have a couple of threads regarding Denso/Lucas Epic systems, one here. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10290&hilit=lucas+epic

First ensure you have fuel to the pump and it is rotating.
The Epic pump is similar to a Lucas Cav pump, but instead of using a metering valve to regulate fuel volume, it has a spill solenoid, which adjusts volume and timing.

You also need to ensure the Ecu is seeing engine rotation and injector lift sensor inputs.

Do you have a Lexia, or other code reader?

Pbink may be able to assist you. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10983&p=130969&hili ... ic#p130969

Hello, yes if it is a problem with the pump itself, then chances are it can be repaired. But I have an idea that there might be something else going on. If the pump is running but not doing anything it could be that the wiring is shorting out. If you have a Lexia you can test 3 of the 4 solonoids. Take a look at the wiring as in this pictured. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10983&p=130969&hili ... ic#p130969

If your wiring looks like this then you need at least a new cable
