Joining just as my XM dies

Hello
I've finally got round to joining the forum just as my current XM prepares for the end. It failed its MOT pretty badly a couple of weeks ago as terminal tin worm has set in, far too much for it to be worth fixing. I'm on the hunt for another one now, but I'm torn between getting another 2.5TD or looking for late 3.0 V6 (the same two that I guess most people looking would choose).
I've contemplated replacing it with something that's not an XM but I just can't....

So. Not far, far away at all then Paul...
Hello Eifion, from way down here in Swansea!!
Yep, you'll have to join the long Que for a late v6; they do turn up, but very rarely
and the last one was just a few weeks ago so it's likely a long wait is due...
more chance of another 2.5 to be honest. I'd hang on as long as you can to your
expired car as you nver quite know what your next one may need - sod's law says
the exact item you need was perfect on the last car that got despatched last week.

Yes, it is and I've been out in it fairly frequently in the last couple of months so there's a chance you've seen it around.
I know I'd have to wait for a late V6 and my need for an XM is fairly pressing. I think I'll have to lower my sights and get a good interim one until the perfect XM of my dreams turns up.

Jeeesus!!! WOW..
You nearly met my missus then... You were in Tesco Car Park, and she - in her little BLACK clio parked next to you to take a picture! Then Saw you and backed out... LOL..
She thought you may have thought she was a stalker!!
WOW, amazing... this is..
She was texting me at the time, I tried to get her to take one but she wouldn't.. Partly because I didn't beleve there would be a DS up here! I know roughly whats up here. I have the rest of N Wales XM's except a White one also in Llandudno junction.
Sarah Clocked your DS right away that day, and thought it was VERY NICE......
