Hi all. Mark is the name. Bought the XM VSX 2.1 td auto off Patrick last year. Rouge Magenta in colour. I'm a BX'r and frequent the BXclub.co.uk as well. Just completed the Citroen Classic Challenge. The XM runs really well. No issues of note. Just need to get the alloys refurbed and the black trim around the windscreen refinished. A few of you might have seen me and the car at the X rally.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum!
That's a very nice car you've got there and the amount of bills and service history was akin to war and piece - one of the best maintained XMs.
You've a beautiful BX too...

I was unable to locate the RP number on the car itself, but found it in the handbook. 8542 which translates as a build date of the 29th March 2000. Anyone got a later build date?

8569, Production date 25th April 2000
And I know about an even later one: 8599, Production date 25th May 2000. Belonging to 'mako' in Kobe, Japan - - a member of the Noz forum!

Hi Mark
You should find the ORGA number in the data on the white sticker between the hinges of the drivers door.
Citroen changed from painted numbers in 1998 or so.

Ah thanks. Couldn't find any evidence of it in the usual place. My BX doesn't seem to have a RP number on it either. Cheers.
