Hello :) I'd say, taking a look at the piccy ( nice looking car BTW ) that you're not in Perth, Scotland. ;)

Hello and welcome !

That looks like a very nice straight early Platinum car of around 1989 vintage.
I have one just like it although probably with a whole load more corrosion underneath. :(
Is yours a manual or auto and out of curiosity, what is the RP number stamped on
front left door jamb?

Love how clean the alloy wheels look.

Hmmm, late s2 nosecone chevrons so I'm probably wrong although the wing badge,
wheels and body colour are usually only seen on an early model?

Welcome to the Forum and here is a photo of my matching 1990 V6 auto. In my humble opinion an early V6 in platinum is the ultimate XM!! As requested by Andrew, it would be interesting to know if your car is a manual or auto and the RP No.? With regards, Matthew T.

From your other posts I see that the car is an auto and I hope you get the replacement dash bits you need! Regards, Matthew T.

Hi and Welcome.
Great looking XM you have there... Love those style of alloys. :D

Is the XM quite a rare sight on Aussie roads?...I assume it is!
