hello all
ive just got my 2nd XM . i used to own a j reg xm prestige saloon 2ltr 10 years ago, ive owned many other cars in the ten years but none as good so ive now purched my second xm , its a 3ltr 12 valve n reg exclusive in black with only 52k on the clock, the only fault so far is the AC doesnt work . it hasnt been recharged for some time so i think all the rubber gaskets will have perished but i am well cuffed with the car and i am planning to use it every day

Welcome Stan and the early S2 with a V6 12v engine is certainly an interesting combination! Regards, Matthew T.

These Early S2 PRV V6 engines are a different CC to ours, and the dip stick is also relocated to the centre of the front heads, rather then comming up to the left side..

I couldn't tell you the exact CC decrease or increase now..

Hope you do not find the "missing" 12 cc's spoils your enjoyment once you have the later engine in.

Possibly not John, as running the older unit on LPG had it running down on bhp anyway.. ;)
