hydraulics/repairs

Post by peter higginson » Sun Aug 25, 2013 3:29 pm

Hello everybody,

I need to get the suspension checked on my 1998 Citroen XM V6. A bumpy ride is emerging! Certainly think the rear spheres need re-charging/replacing. Can anybody recommend somebody in London, or the area around, who is good on the hydraulics, is reasonable, has the tools to do the necessary diagnostics, etc.?

Suggestions greatly received. Thank you.

Peter

Hi Peter,

Finding someone in a mainstream garage with the skills to check/swap XM spheres will not be easy. Few now have the requisite skills.

I'd be tempted to give Citroen Classics in Staines a call and see if they will be happy to do the job...

I have no experience of them but as they deal mainly in the older Hydraulic stuff they should be good on an XM...

Ahh yes, Vantage London Citroen Norman. Good thinking :D

Call them on 0208 544 9998 or 07720 810693 or email vantageoil (at) btconnect (dot) com

In the Citroenian advert they don't say they do repairs directly but do seem to offer plenty of bits for sale.

They're located in Merton SW19..
