Greetings from rural Essex

I joined a while back but have been skulking in the back ground. No stranger to XM's having owned 2 in the passed, I'm just in the process of buying my 3rd, and cannot wait to be behind the wheel again - other cars I've owned since just don't compare. The car I'm buying is the recent (high mileage and overpriced) white XM vsx 2 ltr auto auctioned on fleebay. Good board fellas.

Welcome to the forum.
That looked like a nice car, mileage is high but if its been looked after it should be no problem. Best of luck with it.

Thank you all for your welcome. As far as the X rally goes I'm not going to be able to make it unfortunately - don't take ownership of my XM until the end of next month, but Ill certainly be trying to get to future ones, would be good to meet up with like minded enthusiasts.

Hi - and i'm in Chelmsford too - by the way, Chelmsford is a City (apparently), not 'Rural Essex'!!!!

Ah, you spotted that !! You're absolutely correct of course, I'm actually out in "Latchingdon" (think that qualifies as rural) but Chelmsford is the postal area, I was just generalising thinking nobody would have a clue where Latchingdon was. Good to hear from you.
