S2 climate control unit

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

If it is the fully automatic panel then as well as fitting a Mk2 XM it would replace the defective electronics in a Mk1 unit.
Only the plastic outer case is different and the electronic panel fits either type of case.

That's useful info John, as I've still got a couple of MK1 XMs. Can't recall if they have climate control or not. The early MK1 probably doesn't but the 1993 1.5 may or may not.

The fully automatic air conditioning tech bulletin (XM13No.5) was dated 15th of November 1990.
Auto-diagnostic systems:
standard --- rotary controls --- No diagnostics so no test plug on loom.
semi-auto --- 2 cable 1 motor ---- air-con optional --- 17 fault codes.
Automatic --- digital display 3 motor ---- air-con ---- 26 fault codes.
