Wanted - Copy of Norries Manual

I am looking for a copy of Noz's (Norries) manual on CD as the one I have does not cover the early cars. Can anyone help?

I am not sure which models are the early cars. But Norrie's Manual on CD covers all XM models from RP 3683.
RP 3683 is intriguing as it corresponds with 9 December 1986

The copy I have covers Mk2 only and looking for one that contains earlier hence asking if anyone has a copy of Norries they could copy for me as I cannot get ahold of him.

So I have a copy on CD. I popped it into the drive, and yes, there is nothing about Series 1 XM. I never noticed that although I have had the CD for ages, because the early models were not in my field of interest. The 3683 ORGA is puzzling too. I suspect that number, which was supplied with the CD, should be 6383 and that one corresponds with 1 May 1994

I think you have transposed numbers in that RPN.
6383 is the 2nd May 1994 which was the official XM Mk 2 launch date.

Norries old site "club-xm.com" still exists and he can be contacted through it.
Norrie scanned a local dealers workshop manual starting with the Mk 2 sections which was then made available.
He was then scanning the Mk 1 sections when someone started selling copies his Mk 2 items on ebay for profit.
As far as I know he then stopped scanning and the Mk 1 sections were never made available.
So I think his disk will not provide any basic or Mk 1 XM information.

The Mk 1/Mk 2 split is not quite as clear cut as it appears.
Mk 1 covers the whole XM and engines available up to RPN 6383.
Mk 2 covers only the items that changed under the Mk 2 facelift.

I looked for my copy of Norries disk but found just an empty packet so no idea where that is.

No John, it was not me who transposed the digits, the (allegedly wrong) number was printed on the leaflet that was included with the CD. I could produce a copy of that leaflet, but presume that won't be necessary.
