air con compressor wanted urgently

i have a 2000 v6 24v series 2

i need an ac compressor its like the ones fitted to xantias the supply/discharge ports are on the side next to each other pipes held in with a clamp.

You might ask Stickyfinger on FCF, he has broken a couple Xantia V6s, and is in your part of the world.
How has yours failed? I have never had a problem with one (and have owned 5 cars with this engine).

the clutch has packed up it made an awful noise when i engaged it for a second or two then when i did it again yesterday it didnt engage and is open circuit
the clutch spins freely enough though but the clutch solenoid is open circuit.

Did you measure for continuity at the clutch itself, or are you relying on the Lexia diagnosis? The Lexia will report an open circuit clutch if the refrigerant pressure switch has tripped.

checked clutch resistance and it is open circuit for sure!
