ES9 V6 inlet ducting
Hi all,
I'm looking for the pipe between the air filter and throttle body if anyone has a spare?
The engine came from Marc61 but the pipe has gone awol.

That's a bit of a bugger. Least it be the same as Lhd cars. If no one can help here perhaps ask on fb pages to get to european owners..

Yes it is a bit frustrating not to have it! If the car hasn't been crushed yet there's a very slim chance it's in the yard at Seaton Salvage, will try ringing them tomorrow. Otherwise I will try the fb pages as suggested.

This sounds like a great conversion to be doing.
As the car will have significantly greater performance I would fit the 3.0 anti-roll bar, and brakes, as well.
Have you received your V5 yet? Make sure you notify Dvla of the engine and gearbox numbers, to avoid any complications later on.
What is your intention for the hydraulic pump, run the split pump and regulator, or convert the engine to single pump, regulator and FDV.
A split pumped car without anti-sink is going to take a while to get up off its knees.

I dont think a standard pump will fit the esj engine.. which is possibly why they split the regulator from the.pump on the first place..

I've got the ES9 pump, rack and pipework, front hubs / brakes but passed on the ARB. My mistake! Not sure about putting it in my current S1 2.0 though due to the many differences...
Might be easier to find an S2 donor!

Eventually managed to track one of these down in Germany. It was listed for a 605 and I'm not sure if it has one too many stub pipes but better than nothing, even came with the temperature sensor!
I was bothered about customs charges and VAT but this was all included on ebay - it worked out around £18 for the part and £20 for the postage and other charges.
Would definitely recommend this seller if you're searching for that elusive part.
