Can the sunroof glass be removed without removing the cassette ?

Yes. Slide it forward.. Then tilt it and iirc you should see screws in the side inside the car that hold the glass to the runner arms... (unless I'm mistaking it for the xantia setup)

One needs to unclip the plastic trim round the front of the glass frame to see the screws.
