I don't think ANY ONE of us have ever take a top down that far. We tend to send them off to elastomer.eu for them to do the work..

Hello, and welcome.
You cannot strip these down any further. The top portion is machine inserted around the domed base plate, which is peened in (in 10 places on the late-type tops).
Just send the complete unit to Elastomer for renovation.

I think Viktor wants to perform his own rubber renewal so is attempting to remove the cast top to gain access.
As said, one can't separate the cast part from the tube, if you could, it would come apart in service.
To gain access cut off the thin metal guard, perform the rubber renewal, then refit the guard.
If you intend to use polyurethane just send it to elastomer.eu, if you intend to use rubber, keep us informed...
See link for information on strut top construction.

On the point of renewing the elastic compound in strut tops, has anyone actually fitted and used ones from elastomer.eu, remade with polyurethane?
Is there any difference in ride quality, handling, noise transfer?
I ask as rubber and polyurethane have very different NVH characteristics, which is why manufacturers use rubber, even though it degrades faster than polyurethane.

Do I have to change this struts? They looks to be very high positioned.

If that car is at normal ride height those strut tops are getting dangerous. If the car is at maximum height the rubber will be more stretched.
The best check is to jack the car up with both wheels hanging, then look at the underside of the rubber for tearing, or delamintion.
