1995 Citroen XM 2.5 TD VSX Estate / Break for sale.

I have for sale a really nice solid XM 2.5 TD VSX Estate. Previous sale was not completed...............
I would really like this to go to a Forum Member !
I have owned the car for over ten years and it was bought for a project that was never realised. She has been kept in dry conditions for the whole period and now selling due to loss of storage facility.
She has covered 156000 miles and is in really good condition. Many new parts were fitted in my ownership including EBC brake pads on the front and Pagid rears together with all new fitting kits. A new Oil Cooler from a C5 and all service parts have been replaced. The engine is in really good condition and starts first time every time with no smoke or noises present.
The suspension works as it should with no evident leaks or sags. Oversize tyres were fitted, as part of the project, and her roof rails were removed and unfortunately lost !
She will need a Windscreen as it was damaged by frost two years ago when rain leaked onto her from a hole in the roof of the premises, the ABS light stays on also but believed to be a broken wire on a wheel sensor.
These are now becoming rare birds, and with a little TLC this car would be mint.

Hello,I'm interested in the XM and would like to view it if possible,When does it need to be moved by and is it drivable ?I know about the screen but my intention would probably be to book it straight for an MOT to see what needs doing. Where abouts are you in warrington? Thanks Andrew

Hi, Iknow you have had some interest in your car and not sure whether it is sold or not.

I have looked up the mot history on the DVLA sight and there is nothing available, was this car on a private plate at some point.

Also do you have any pictures of the sills please as I know they are prone to rust.

^ The Reg number appears correct. The reason there is no online MOT history is because the car has been off the road since before the MOT history was put online.

Thank you for your interest and yes the car is still for sale..............
I'll try and get some pics of the sills at the weekend as the car is in storage and not at my premises, but as stated this is a real solid example with really good bodywork.

Is this car still for sale? Where can it be seen? What did you do about the leak in the roof - was it through the radio antenna? I think I see a sun roof; does it work?

Yes car still for sale, it is in storage in Warrington Cheshire. I have just changed the advert as realised by your question that it could be read wrongly, the leak was in the roof of the storage premises not the car's roof.........it was rained on which froze and cracked the windscreen at the scuttle area. I have never tried the sunroof to be perfectly honest !
