My white estate for sale, sob, sob!

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

My white estate for sale, sob, sob!

Post by ash2020 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 7:37 am

Hi all. Very reluctantly, I have to sell my white VSX 2.5 TD
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %26otn%3D1
I'm going to be towing my boat around this year and, because it weighs 2.3 tonnes, can't do it with the XM. If I could just find a cheap way of insuring it and taxing it and somewhere to keep it (we live on a main road - no garage) then it wouldn't be a problem but I can only afford one vehicle. I don't know some of you keep so many cars! I never imagined I would ever get emotional about a car but it does feel like a betrayal!
Thank you for all the amazing help and advice that I have found here, it really is a fantastic community. As soon as my circumstances change I'll be looking for another XM and then - I'll be back.
Thanks again to all and good luck.
Andrew

Have you thought about putting it in storage?
I pay 3 quid a week per vehicle in outdoor storage, which is pretty good!

Wow Dave, you're lucky. I've been asking around here and the cheapest here is where we store our little caravan, which is £25 a month.
