Clutch cable

Hi, anyone have a spare or know of a good source for, a clutch cable for a 2.0CT S2 XM hatch? Citroen want £115 + VAT

Part number's 21 50 J5.

No, Ken. But I want to carry one with me for trips to the continent. For RHD reasons...

One gets a feeling about these things and I don't want to get caught out. The clutch isn't overly heavy, but it feels very slightly sticky. And the pedal (I assume) is prone to squeaking. I will try to lubricate the cable path as much as I can but access is very difficult.

I saw that but it appears to be for a 2.0 16v. Are they the same???

The ad states: "This part fits the vehicles listed above. Please do not ask if it fits anything else! If it would fit anything else, we would say."

But the title says Turbo. Very confusing!

To be honest I don't know, but I cant see Citroen making different cables for all cars, pity he doesn't show a picture of it.

There are three different cables depending on engine/transmission.

2150 J5
CABLE-CLUTCH
- ME5T EXCEPT D11ATE

2150 J7
- D11ATE AND ME5T

2150 J6
- XU10J2 AND BE3

Afaik, the 2.0i is an XU10J2 and BE3 combo, the rest are ME5T and with appropriate engines.

So a standard 2.0i cable isn't suitable for a 2.0iturbo.
