Activa strut

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Activa strut

Post by Dean » Wed Nov 10, 2010 6:59 pm

Its a bit of a long shot but i thought its best too start looking for the hardest to find bit for my activa first and thats the N/S front strut itself, mine is leaking rather badly it would seem and just has to be replaced so if you have one can you PM me with a figure. Pointing and laughing also welcome :D .
I may also add there is no rush but i will need it before march when she goes on the road.

Thanks

Hi Dean,

You can borrow the one that came of the Activa I broke during the summer. I don't need it at the moment, and hope I never do, but you never know. You can either send me mine back when you get a replacement, or send me one when you find one.

The car had done approx 165K miles, and I have no idea on its condition as the car was bought as a non runner, due to immobiliser faults.

Its worth a try anyway.

No problem Dean,

I'd try and get an Activa to break if you can. Sin and all that it is amongst some of the Citroen community, they can't all survive, and the ones that are cherished do need a supply of spares to keep them going.
